I am assuming you mean you have the following settings selected under Tools->Options->Receipts: "Request a read receipt for all sent messages" = checked "Never send a read receipt" The Tools, Options, Receipts, check boxes show that I shouldn't be sending receipts and that I should be requesting read receipts.

I want to do is set up some Contacts to always request read receipts when I send them e-mail. What I have noticed is that I can do that for some contacts, but not others ie. I open a contact and go to File/Properties, and some I can check the 'Read Receipt Requested' and others it's not there.
